I read about this idea on the Huffington Post and I loved the idea and said to myself, “Self….we have to do this!” Anyone who takes my boot camps knows that I LOVE doing burpees, they are a fantastic full body exercise that incorporates strength and cardio all in one. That is probably why we were doing these boot camp exercises way back in the day in gym class remember? Well even if you don’t you remember those days, you are certainly going to remember the next 100 days of this boot camp exercise challenge. For the next 100 days, starting this Friday, September 23rd, until New Years Eve, you are going to be doing progressive burpees. That means on Day 1, you are going to do one burpee, on day 2 two burpees, on day 3, three burpees, and so forth until day 100, when you will be doing 100 burpees on New Years Eve, before you head out to eat, drink and be merry! Now, don’t freak out, you don’t have to do all the burpees at the same time. If you need to break it up, you can sets of 10, 15, 20, 25 or whatever you want! Just get them done! So get this in your head. You are going to do this! It’s going to be fun, and a great goal to strive for. There is a video here that shows you how to do the burpee, in case you don’t know.
